Well written Kim. I did not go to Chik-Fil-A because the closest one is 13 miles away at the University of MN. I feared protesters of the protesters. I also feared of some extremists using violence on both sides of the gay marriage issue. My daughter does not stand in line for long periods of time either. Even though Chik-Fil-A proposed a healthier menu in April (that was there reason for parting with Dairy Queen), it is still not healthy. I never liked their waffle fries too.

I do like Dan Cathy. I am glad that there is some sort of hope out there. I just hope it is not a fad. God is not a fad. I also wish some other companies took the stand that Cathy did. I also did not agree with Boston and Chicago to not allow Chik-Fil-A to be there -simply because the mayors don't agree with them. I do think this sets a dangerous precedent for churches and other organizations that chose to make their biblical beliefs outspoken. We live in a Republic where people/business' can express their point of views. I hope this country does not turn into a dictatorship.

I thought there was a direct correlation with regards to my sanctification and the frequency of my Chick-fil-a visits... are you saying otherwise?! But, yes, agreed. Fantastic words.
